Recommended Tea Party Reading

The 5000 Year Leap by W. Cleon Skousen is one of the cornerstones of required reading for tea party members.  Published by the National Center of Constitutional Studies in 1981, the book details the 28 principles of freedom that our founding fathers used to create the U.S. constitution.  The ideas of this book have been eroded away the last 90 years in the United States.    Today these ideas are under direct attack from socialist ideas and agenda.  Learn these principles to understand why they were so important.  It can be eye opening!  Recommended by Glenn Beck on The Glenn Beck Radio Program.

The Real George Washington, by Jay A. Parry and Andrew M. Allison  provides the real facts about one of America's founding fathers.  The facts were not summarized from the current text books of our schools and university's.  The authors used their talents to paint the true life portrait of Washington throughout his life.  This book sets the records straight on many important facts.  This is an important book for the Tea Party and for parents to read or give to their children.

The Forgotten Man: A History of the Great Depression by Amity Shlaes

Who is the forgotten man?  FDR twisted the term forgotten man and defined them as the poor who were deserving to be helped by all others.  Read Amity Shlaes book and you will find that this is another twisted spin.  The true forgotten man is the middle class of America.  They are not rich enough to be above taxes and rules, but they are not poor enough to be aided by social justice.  In fact, they are the true victims of social justice.  Their hard earned money was bled from them during the great depression to fund social programs.  This book is a fascinating read.

Glenn Beck's Common Sense: The Case Against an Out-of-Control Government, Inspired by Thomas Paine

Glenn Beck's common sense book has a whole lot more information on the takeover of our country by a socialist group.  The dialog is similar to what he has been talking about for years on The Glenn Beck Program radio show.  There are things you may not want to think about in this book, but it is better to face these things now rather than when harder times are upon us.

The Tea Party Movement: Why It Started, What It's About, and How You Can Get Involved, by Bruce Bexley

This book is a good starter book for those interested in finding what the Tea Party movement is all about.  Bruce Bexley links the current Tea Party movement to the original Boston Tea Party.  In this case the country we have is being taken away from us before our eyes.  Bexley offers some good tips in his book on how to get involved to help the movement turn the ship around back to where we came from.

Constitutional Chaos: What Happens When the Government Breaks Its Own Laws, by Judge Andrew Napolitano

This book is a must read for fans of the constitution.  Judge Napolitano further documents how corruption is breaking the system and trampling the constitution of the United States.  This book is a historic piece from a judge who has seen from the bench the actions of the socialist agenda to push out the integrity of the constitution.
